Time Stamps

This is going to be a new weekly post. I am going to post pictures from the past that strongly tell a story to me. My favorite part of any magazine is when they have the page in the back that is a photo of memories from the past....I just can't ever get enough of pictures...

SO....
The following two pictures are from January of this year when my Niece Quinn was born at the Hospital..I love being at a hospital waiting for a baby...the bonding with family that goes on in the waiting rooms is so much fun

The above was taken on the 1/1/08 and is of Quinn's grandma Erna and Erin...we were listening at the door to her room at the exact moment she was born and they are smiling because they just heard the first cry...

This... believe it or not... was not a posed picture and was totally random...As Ali was leaving the Hospital this lil old lady just popped into my shot. I could not have cast a better extra for that shoot if I tried....I thought this picture should end up on a brochure for the hospital maternity unit

Great photos! I love the anticipation of a birth in the hospital, too. I waited 10 hours for my first nephew to be born - so amazing! Do I have to have ablog in order to have an identity on here? It keeps making me choose anonymous.

Jenny, that pic with the old lady should be submitted for the OC fair next year!

I love the "Time Stamps" idea and imagine if Leslie and I ever get our act together to start doing one of these, we'll have to do something similar to catch up on our old family stories.

Your old lady photo looks like a Norman Rockwell painting! That definitely should be in their brochure or on their wall!

I'm enjoying your blog SO much and look for updates every day after work @ 3:30 ...I mean 5:00!

LOL! I have a confession. On the first read, in my head your reply sounded like Lucky the Leprechaun.

"They're always after me blog!"

(And yes, so ironically, it's 3:30 ... shut up!)

I have to agree your blog keeps me a little less homesick! My new mission in life is to find that random grandmother and have her pose with Ali and Quinn every year on Quinn's birthday! hee hee.
