So I always hated Ikea. I have never lived on my "own" and did not ever do the dorm thing which is what I always thought the big scary maze was all about...the products there always seemed cheaply made and I thought sort of ugly.....
I am a changed women....
A couple of months ago we changed Liam's crib into a big boy bed so he can never sleep in that one too. I wanted to get some new bedding to update his room a little bit... so I thought of Ikea just to snoop around and not buy anything.
When we got there we left Jack at the play center (notice I did not say drop "Jack Off") He loved it!! Bonus points for that and the hour we got to browse around with Liam....Not only did we buy new bedding, but we also ...gasp.. finally updated our mix matched bachelor/Halloween/Mickey Mouse/Bobs Big Boy glasses for some "adult" plain ones....I am in love with them.....John would not let me part with the vintage super hero glasses...so there is still a little crazy left. We also got some other random things that we probably did not need...BUT IT WAS ALL SO CHEAP!!
I love the lingonberry punch and their chocolate bars...Jack asks just about every day now when can we go back and I am thinking the same thing!! I can't wait...
