Time Stamps ~ Object edition

For my 32 years on this Earth I believe it is a tragedy that we own a two car garage that has never housed any cars. Why? Because of all the crap I save that I feel I can't part with and my holiday addiction that has put me into a nice 15 Bin problem. It is my parents fault though. Dad can not throw anything away either and even if he does not want the item he has to say "Well, I bet I could sell it on E-bay"...and so it sits forever in a way-too-crowded-storage-space. Mom is just as bad, although she has a sneakier way about it..she just either tells you "oh this was your So and So's and He/she would have really wanted you to have it " or she just gets Dad to sneak stuff into our garage.

To the point...As I was pulling out 5 bins of Halloween decorations to put up with Jack, I came across a bin I have not seen since my early twenties. In it were some amazing objects that I felt the need to share.....yet can I throw them out....um no......But Maybe I will put them on E-bay.

At one time I had the whole set of these age dolls...but for some reason in this box was only 5 and 11.....maybe since Jack is now 5 I will display it in his room....I am sure he would LOVE that ;)

Oh Bob....I really do love the food and the restaurant.....maybe a little too much

Michael Jackson and Jem....now I got that Jem doll when I was about 10(which BTW..her earrings still work)...Most would probably assume I acquired Michael around that same time in the eighties...and most would be wrong because I went through My Michael Jackson phase at 16 ending right around my 19th birthday. I bought the doll when I was 17...sans his shirt

Oh if my Jem doll could talk she would need to write a book on the places she has been....

Yeah.... he is even pretty creepy as a doll

My mini glo-worm...the burn mark on her face is from a tragic accident caused by her and my bedroom lamp getting a little too close....so sad

Barbie....I have a ridiculous amount and I really am still in love with most of my collection....but some of the items are to say the least a bit odd........First place ribbon was for displaying my collection in the Youth building at the fair

Every serious Barbie collector needs a heart full of 1980's Disco Barbie Bath necessities

I am so with you in this boat. I am constantly getting in trouble for saving items I don't need and probably never will. I haven't counted my holiday decoration bins but I am sure I am in the 15 box range. The extra sad part about that is that I don't even have the energy to put my Halloween ones up this year!!

I have never had Dad sneak anything into your garage, but what a good idea!! Now he has decided that it would be great to bring all the storage stuff over here so that he can just go into Erin's old room and get the stuff going for E-bay. We'll be rich!!!

Why don't you get rid of some of the Barbie stuff?

I get into trouble for saving things too, but I am married to someone who has NO problem throwing my stuff out. Of course we do have boxes of GI Joe men and random trophies from him.

FINALLY I cleaned and got a whole pile (including furniture) to get rid of. It has been sitting there for MONTHS...HE refuses to take it to the goodwill. I need to find someone who will come pick up all this crap.
