A deep breath

Ever since the drive to Northern California I have just been aching for richer scenery...I love Southern California, but the nature girl in me is making me want to go to the nearest forest without looking back. I so loved river rafting in Tahoe Donner as a child, Camping with Girl scouts, and a many moutain hikes

John had been wanting to take the boys to the snow for ever, and now that we had a car that could make it... we finally did it. SO glad he pushed us to go! The drive terrified me up to Big Bear, but God... it is so pretty there. Jack made us listen to the theme song to Soaring over California all the way up the mountain.... and I must admit it really added to the experience. The air smelled so good.

We had a great time...sledding, sightseeing and tubing.....next year we are getting a cabin for sure.

I really hated the drive home.
