Children's book of the month

Does everyone else get as excited as I do when they get book orders forms from their kids?? I always loved the book fairs as a kid and I still do...

My Mom ordered the book Amelia Bedelia and the Baby when I was little. I happened to find it out in the garage and pulled it out to read it to Jack. It is now his Favorite book. The book itself is a little scary now re-reading it as a adult, because it is amazing that someone left their child with the bumbling Amelia. There is a section where Amelia reads her instructions to give the baby "mashed Bananas" for lunch. Amelia gives the baby a whole banana and lets the baby mash it sending bananas everywhere. This set Jack into near hysterics. Cute book and very cute simple illustrations....less sometimes really is way more!
